Kenzie was in her brace?!?

Gosh, looking back, I hardly remember those days. What I remember most:
* The day she got it on she slept through the night.

* Not being able to give her a bath!
* Her wearing the same
onesie for days straight, as it was nearly impossible to change her.
* Soaking her for HOURS the day she got it off.

* Being concerned her legs wouldn't straighten out or the indents in her legs wouldn't go away.


All of it being so short term. Look at her now.... 10 1/2 months old and WALKING! We had a follow up at Duke this morning with her Orthopedic Surgeon and he was amazed at just how much and how well she is walking.

He does want to see her back in a year before he
releases her from his care - just to assure her left hip falls
perfectly into place. It still sits a bit high according to the x-ray. He wants her at 100%.

lovely! great progression, kinda like forrest gump but not to that extreme. i may have to talk to you about this blogging thing to get the hang of it. :)
