Wonderful family weekend!

During this time of year it isn't too often we don't have something going on. It was a refreshing break. On Friday evening The Teague's dropped off Hooper for his week long vacation! Carter enjoyed chasing the pups around the house on his 'fire scooter'.


We got up early Saturday morning and headed to the Apex Peak Festival. We walked around, ate junk food and looked at all the little shops they had set up. Carter was terrified of the Chick-fil-a cow. Poor kid. Guess now is not a good time to head to Disney!

A few weeks ago we discovered a few walking trails not far from our house - so, Sunday morning we got up and went for a nice long walk. Carter was especially excited to play at the park after our walk. Grandma came over to visit just after nap time - we played outside for most of the afternoon. The weather was perfect.

Look at Carter driving his motorcycle... will be the only one he'll ever drive as long as I have anything to do with it.
