What a weekend.... long post!

On Friday evening Josh and I went to see Dark Knight at the IMAX theater in Raleigh with some friends. Carter and grandma had an evening together. Unfortunately for Grandma, there wasn't much playing involved. Poor Carter is getting his two year old molars - and they are very painful. I'd say the most painful of all... my little peanut was just not himself all weekend. At the most, he has had one full meal in 2 1/2 days....

Here's Carter playing with his trucks just before Grandma arrived!

On Saturday morning we just hung out at the house, relaxed and snuggled on the couch. Carter was very clingy - so, we know for sure he was in pain. Thank goodness for baby Tylenol!! A dose of that and he was ready to go... off we went to Rick & Jen's for yet another fabulous dinner!!
Carter & Harrison had a blast playing toss on the couch.... they always have a great time together!

It is clear in this picture that Rick has for sure done this before....

Kamakazi Shooter - YUMMY!!
Recipe: 1 oz. Vodka 1/2 oz. Triple Sec Splash of Lime Juice

Of course Sunday's always consist of Football watching at our place, this week Rob, Natasha & Brennan joined us - and for the most part we had a great time. By late Sunday evening Carter was not interested in playing nice, in all honesty he was down right evil. I'll be shocked if Brennan ever wants to step foot into our house again.

As you can see from this picture, Carter clearly still does not feel well. We changed his shirt twice he was drooling so much. I can't wait for these teeth to make their grand appearance!!

Brennan & Carter playing well together - sharing blocks, and having a good ol' time. Even Natasha joined in on the fun!! Of course Carter asked her to make a big truck -- which never happened! Instead she made a Russian space station - how creative!!

Keep in mind when you look at the next few pictures - this was after the incident -- Brennan is actually okay in arms distance from Carter. I know - you are all wondering what this crazy kid of mine was up to..... well, too keep it as brief as possible, not only did Carter whack Brennan in the head once with a big long pink mixing spoon - he did it several times. The first time, I took him right upstairs for his minute long timeout. We came down stairs, apologized to Brennan, even gave hugs and kisses.... only to turn around 3 seconds later to do it again - this time he whacked him a few good times (right on the head) before Josh could get to him. Josh's quick thinking led Carter to his normal timeout spot - in front of everyone. That seemed to do the trick! I was mortified, to say the least. Poor Brenna was bawling (who wouldn't have been).... I cried too! My little peanut will NOT be the bully kid. I am praying that this was an isolated incident.... I really want to chalk it up to his teeth hurting, an empty stomach, and very little sleep! Brennan, I hope one day you and Carter can laugh about this! Hugs to you little man!

Here they are - again playing well with each other (props to Brennan, if it were me -I wouldn't have gotten in arms reach of that evil child). They even put these little Frisbee's on each other has hats!

Tuc-tuc giving Carter a big wet slobbery kiss!!

Under the hammock - just being silly!

I just adore this picture - thanks for helping me figure out this complex camera Natasha!!

I hope Carter is feeling better! All skirmishes (is that a word?) aside, we really did have a great time!
