Durham Bulls Game

On Saturday, May 10th we took Carter to his second Durham Bulls Game. I think it is safe to say we all had a good time... of course it got much better when Rob finally showed up with Natasha's beer!!

I was shocked at how well Carter did.... Brennan too!

Carter, Daddy & Ryan.... thank goodness Ryan joined us, otherwise we may not have known if a fly ball was headed our way! He was the only one that actually watched the game :-)

Thanks for the pizza crust Cathy -- I'm not sure how much longer Carter would have sat there without munchin' on some yummy pizza!

He managed to devour the entire piece of crust.... almost in one bite. Gosh, I now truly feel like I'm depriving my child of all the yummy things out there. Not only did he get his first taste of pizza on Saturday, he also had his first Chicken Nugget -- thanks Brennan!

Carter's stay @ The Lake!

While Josh and I were in New Orleans, Carter got to spend some quality time with Nana & Granddaddy! I know they were worn out come Sunday! Nana told us Granddaddy slept when Carter did. You got it -- every nap Carter took, Granddaddy did too! 7pm sharp, both down for the count. I'd have done the same, all those wagon rides they took would tire anyone out.

Granddaddy & Nana bought Carter this cool bubble lawn mower -- he loves it. The faster he pushes, the more bubbles it makes! He came back with a skinned up knee from going so fast!

Carter & Granddaddy took so many wagon rides, I think the wagon may need new tires!!

They spent lots of time on the boat. Here is Carter teaching Nana how to drive -- he's had lots of practice!

Carter even met Chuck-e-Cheese during his stay in South Carolina. Look at all the fun he is having on the ride!

Jazz Fest

Here we are in our hotel.... awaiting the shuttle to the Jazz Fest! It was pouring.... but, we were going anyway! No chance we were passing up Jimmy!

The sun starting popping through on our bus ride.... once we got there, it was beautiful. With the exception of the MUD we had to prance through -- it was an AWESOME day!

The flamingos were a HIT! By the end of the day there were people actually laying in the mud.

New Orleans

Josh and I headed to New Orleans for Jazz Fest - April 30th - May 4th.
We had a great time... even though I missed my little peanut like CRAZY!!

Here is a bit of History.....

Easy ZooLoo (that was the Donkey's name!!) says the tour guide as we venture up the streets of New Orleans.

So... apparently you don't go down Bourbon Street without getting a Hand Grenade... which is this nasty alcoholic beverage Tom & Josh just had to have -- way too sweet!

Off the beaten path a bit we found this great little pub -- here you will find a water fountain made out of all of the beers they carry.

Yes, that is the kid from Fall Out Boy with Tommy Lee.... lighting up after a gig at a local pub.

While we were in SC this weekend we took Carter to feed the ducks and visit Granny. Josh got a lot of great pictures, here are just a few!

Carter picked Granny a flower -- they enjoyed it for quite some time!

Sea Legs!

We all went to South Carolina this weekend to visit Nana & Granddaddy, as well as Uncle Tracy, Uncle Rocky & Aunt Donna. We had a very nice visit! It was great seeing all the Lipscomb boys together... trying to catch some fish!

We took the boat out on Saturday afternoon. Carter had a blast helping Granddaddy drive.

Once he realized he could walk around we couldn't keep him in one place.
