Picnic @ school

Ms. Dawn decided to take lunch outdoors today! What a fantastic idea.... the weather is absolutely beautiful. The kids enjoyed it -- apparently Carter was a bit concerned the wind was going to blow his lunch away. Silly boy!

Genius!

Message from Ms. Dawn:

You son is a genius! Today we are talking about families and also directions like next to and over etc. So I put this picture together and then gave them directions on where to put their pieces.....

I won't lie, when I first saw the text I was thinking surely my son isn't a genius - any kid at the age of 2 1/2 can do that. Apparently not. Most kids had their houses all over the map! So.... do we have a genius on our hands?!? Probably not! But, hey... he is one smart cookie!

We spotted the ice cream truck for the 1st time in a long time! Carter was super excited to get a nice cold pop on such a hot day!!

Since Josh now keeps Carter two days a week I often get cute shots of them having fun! Today was a beautiful day in NC. Looks like they enjoyed the beautiful weather!
