November 2007

November was the month of napping on the floor.

This was such a funny day -- Carter wasn't feeling too good, and the only thing that would make him happy was to play, auggghh.... tear up my magazines! As you can see from the picture below -- I let him. My little peanut has got me wrapped around his little finger, already!

Halloween

Carter was a penguin for Halloween -- imagine that! We went trick-or-treating with Madison and crew!

North Carolina State Fair

This was Carter & Jolene's 1st trip ever to the North Carolina State Fair. Carter really wanted some of our millennium fries & cheese sauce.... not quite old enough yet little man.

Carter was such a trooper -- we enjoyed our trip to the fair. We ate so much junk food, we all had a belly ache the next day!

The deep fried just about anything.... up, even Coca Cola! Only at the NC State Fair.

Visit to The Lake!

This picture looks so innocent, but there is quite a story behind it. Carter was napping soundly on Uncle Mattie when all of a sudden we hear oh no, oh no (which if I remember correctly is putting it mildly) get him, get him... we all come rushing to Mattie's rescue thinking some thing was truly wrong -- to find out Matt thought Carter had pee'd on him. Yes, you read correctly -- I said he thought. It turned out, it was only sweat. For those of you that don't know Mattie, he is a germ a fob... he has been pee'd one once before (another story) the thought of it happening again modified him!
