Happy Halloween!!

We had an awesome Halloween evening at Rob & Natasha's (thanks for the last minute invite). Carter was decked out in his lion outfit, Brennan was the cutest little football player, and Kylie was by far the cutest little pumpkin I've ever seen.

Okay, so Rob made a pretty cute football player too.

This is the way all should trick-or-treat. Kid in one seat and beer in the other :-)

See... isn't Kylie adorable?! It was great to spend some time with Rae & Scoot again.

The morning after... looks like Carter had more to drink than I did - LOL!

The Goddard's Halloween Parade

Carter's school had a little Halloween parade - it lasted all of 5 minutes but it was the cutest thing.

Here comes my little lion looking all cute :-)

I think at this point he realized it was Josh behind the camera.....

We were so happy Auntie Jackie could make it to the parade! Thanks for coming - I know it was a long drive for such a short event.

Such a big boy washing his hands after his snack.

Here is Carter & Noah (partners in crime) enjoying some time together before we all headed home for the day!

Madison's 5th Birthday Party

Madison had a princess themed party this year - and I was the lucky one to do the pictures for the party! We had soooo much fun. All the little girls were required to come dressed in their best princess outfit.

Here is the cake that Melissa & Jason made!

All the gifts awaiting the princesses arrival.

Here is Madison with her friends Gabby & Lexi.

Madison's little sister Janae looking all cute.

This is one of Madison's friends Juicy -- I can't believe how beautiful she is. I'm thinking her mom should get her into modeling... what about you?!?!

I'm working on getting all the pictures uploaded to Picasa - so please check back soon for those!

Breckenridge Fall Festival

Our neighborhood has a fall festival every year -- some how we are just about always out of town. Luckily, we were around this year!! Carter absolutely loved hanging out in the Fire Truck.

He thought it was super cool when the fire fighter gave him a badge sticker just like he had.

Too cute!

We even got to jump around - Carter was a bit nervous at first, but as long as I was holding his hand he was having a grand ol' time. He pitched a fit when it was time to get out so the other kids could have their turns!

I totally forgot to mention the fire hat - OMGosh, he totally loves his hat. I think he'd wear it to bed if we'd let him. He'll put his hat on and get on his fire truck (scooter from Danielle!!) and push it all over the house making fire truck noises. I'm hoping to get it on video soon.

WVU vs AU

Jolene, Mary-Charles & Tucker joined in on the football watching on Thursday evening. As you will notice from the pictures Jolene is an Auburn fan. Needless to say - there was quite a lot of smack talking going on. Luckily for Josh - WVU won. GO MOUNTAINEERS!

Who knows?!?

Carter was just being down right silly on Wednesday evening. Here are a few pictures to let you in on the fun!

Here we are spinning on the kitchen floor.

Ut oh Mommy -- I found some dirt. Carter loves to pick the dirt off the floor. My crazy kid.

Determined to get his socks off......

He was soooo mad us for not helping him - evil parents.

Once he finally got his socks off and calmed down a bit he wanted to talk on the phone.

My little Cheeto man!

It isn't too often that Carter gets junk food, and frankly he really doesn't like it all that much. However, he absolutely LOVES Cheetos - a man after his Nana's heart! I'm pretty sure you will agree -- a bath was in order after this snack!

Hey Nana - if you are extra nice, I'll share :-) Love you bunches! Hope to see you soon.

18 month well visit

Carter had his 18 month well check up this afternoon.

October 20th, 2008
75% Height - 33 1/4
25% Weight - 24 lbs (he actually lost a bit of weight... doc wasn't concerned, as long as he is eating)
40% Head circumference 47 1/2

The only shot he rc'vd today was the flu shot. He was such a big boy. He didn't even cry, he watched the nurse put the needle in his leg -- of course while holding on to my hands for dear life. The nurse did such a good job, she had a band aide on his leg immediately after she pulled the needle out - Carter was so into the pumpkin on his band aide, he forgot all about the shot!

NC State Fair - October 2008

This was Carter's (and Jolene's) second year venturing to the NC State Fair (click here for pics from last year). We had a big group this year... we were joined by Grandma, Auntie Chris, Auntie Mallory, JoJo, Dan, Mike, Kim & Carter's new friend Tristan. Josh would be disappointed if I didn't blog the pictures he took of all the JUNK food we ate. So... here goes.

First, we had a bloomin' onion - which we all shared!

Dan just had to have a fried snickers..... I love snickers -- but, fried?!?!

Of course my all time favorite is the sausage with onions, peppers & lots of mustard!

And Josh's must have is a steak sandwich -- of course he also has to have a turkey leg (this year he got his to go).

The absolute only thing Carter would touch was the corn on the cob. We have a good eater on our hands, that is for sure!!

Me and my little sister -- just having fun!!

All bundled up... it got really cold on Saturday evening.

Make a wish!

Josh is sure Carter is wishing for a NEW BIG TRUCK.... gosh, this little boy loves his trucks. The second we walk into his room in the morning he is rambling big tucks... big tucks... These picture were taken on Saturday -- and too cute not to post.

PJ fun!

After Carter's bath on Tuesday night he was hell bent about going out-tide.... since it was early enough we decided what the heck. So, we put on the good ol' crocks... and out we went.

Carter is convinced the pumpkins are basketballs.... therefore, he must throw them. They are pretty heavy, but he doesn't care!

What's up Dad?!?!

Hey Mary-Charles... wanna see my belly button?!?!

He is clearly up to no good in this picture.... god help us now! I have a sneaky feeling we are going to have our hands full in a few year :-)

*** and yes, Carter did indeed get a hair-cut. It is a bit short, but it grows so darn fast!!

Hill Ridge Farms

On Saturday afternoon we met Rob, Natasha & Brennan at Hill Ridge Farms for some fall fun.

Brennan & Carter spent a lot of time trying to pick the perfect pumpkin!! Carter also enjoyed some Nachos...

Hangin' out on a very antique chair..... luckily he didn't break it. I'm pretty sure it was clearly marked - for show only. OOPS!!

Cute shot of Carter looking at all the farm animals.

This was the highlight of Carter's visit to the farm -- had the line not been so long, he would have gone down the slide all afternoon.

Brennan was not nearly as thrilled with the slide.
