We took Carter to a kids museum in Columbia, SC today - we had a great time! Jason, Ashley & Conner visited us today, also. Carter had a great time with his new friend...

Look closely -- Josh & Carter are inside of a bubble. Carter loves bubbles, so this was a really cool concept for him.

Here is Ed (EdVenture) -- Ed is a 40 foot kid with a working watch.... you can explore his insides to see just exactly what he is made of.

You can even go down a slide (which consist of his intestines).... Carter loved it face first!!

.... here we come! We'll be leaving for SC in a few hours. I'm looking forward to the extra long weekend. Carter's school is closed tomorrow, so we decided to take an extra day off. Nothing like a 4 day weekend! I know Nana & Granddaddy will enjoy the extra time with Carter.

Little BIG Helper!

Carter is really getting the hang of running the mini vacuum! Child labor?

Olympic athlete?!?

Okay, so it may be a bit to yearly to know for sure -- however, my kid LOVES him some water. Really, the second we walk in the door after school he is begging to get naked (nakie) and head outside (outdied) to play in the water (wa-wa).... or pool (pooo). The kid does not hold back, he knows what he wants and let's you know. Rules are we must have dinner first :-) Josh and I set only a few rules, yet the ones we do have are set -- no exceptions! Hopefully, it will pay off one day.

Notice the "real" cup sitting right beside him.... guess he preferd the bucket!

Another rule (even though he'd prefer it to come off) diaper stays on... no pee in the pool!

Tonight he was more intersted in playing outside of the pool, rather than in it. Go figure!

Carter went yesterday for his 15 month well visit (yeah, we are a bit late).
He is definitely going to be tall like his daddy!!

"New" old trucks

Nana & Granddaddy brought Carter a few of Josh's old trucks when they visited this weekend. Carter has enjoyed them just as much, if not more, than Josh did growing up.

Guess who got the Wii Fit for her birthday -- yup, I did :-) Whooohooo... thanks Nana & Granddaddy!! Now I have no excuse for not getting rid of the extra pounds!!

Nana & Granddaddy also brought Carter a few new books -- he loves to read!

Here you will see Nana & Carter racing... who will win?? One of his new books has empty spots you fill in with Cheerios's. So, Nana created this cool game -- who can eat the Cheerios's fastest?!? Carter loves his Cheerios's... he wins every time!

Who knew...

... that playing with a hose could be so much fun! It didn't take much time at all for Carter to realize there was wa-wa coming out of the hose after Kirby got a bath!

Here is appears Carter is asking permission to soak himself; however, those that know Carter know all to well that he just dove right in.... no permission needed!

.... unless you have no choice! Some mornings Josh has to wake Carter up to get him ready for school -- today was one of those mornings! How cute is my little peanut -- sleeping with his butt in the air :-)

Naked boy!

To keep from total embarrassment on Carter's part in the years to come, I will only blog a few cute shots of his little butt :-) Carter loves to play in the pool we recently bought for our deck. He new big thing is naknak -- which in turn means Mommy take off my clothes so I can play in the pool. He sure is a ham!

Of course Mommy prefers he has a diaper on - and a bathing suit!
Since I'm bigger -- I win this battle!
